Cecilie Manz' interest in design and the desire to work with materials took her to the Design School of Denmark where she trained as a furniture designer. The will to look into the functionality and mainly the ability to think conceptually has led her to many different projects. In her own studio Cecilie Manz continually seeks to retell and challenge the Danish design tradition in quality and detailed material choices.
