Bess Kristoffersen uses her experience from experimental metal design when exploring the glossy and matt surfaces of damask weaving. Her designs are soft, feminine and inspired by nature – and feminine and masculine meet in beautiful geometric compositions. Among other things, she has drawn the damask tablecloth MEADOW and the SEEDS plaids. Bess Kristoffersen’s design activities are wide-ranging – from silk shawls and jewellery to large metal walls. She also works for Bang & Olufsen, Kvadrat and Blå Form and is a member of the board of Danske Kunsthåndværkere (Danish Arts and Crafts Association).
